at Drake Field - parade and picnic and officer induction

 

Even though the city has cancelled its 4th of July

POST 50 will still celebrate our 

countrys birth with a meeting/parade/picnic

14 June - Is FLAG DAY and the Army Birthday

25 June - was the Start of the Koren War

Since our charter was established, American Legion Post 50 has been welcoming VETERANS from all branches of our Armed Forces. Today, we continue to welcome all military personnel serving our country. Joining our post enables you to continue serving your God, Country and Community. Our mission is to implement the goals, aspirations, dreams, peace and blessings for our country, friends and families embodied in our preamble below.

To the wonderful patriotic citizens of the Fayette/Coweta community: Join our post as a booster or sponsor. 100% of the funds raised are given back to the community. Help us to continue sponsoring scholarships for our local youth; give aid and assistance to our local needy Veterans and their families; support Boy Scouts; American Legion Baseball; and our High School Oratorical Scholarship Program, to name a few. Help us to continue to support financially worthy community programs and projects.
